It's a little annoying that the commit which was supposed to have brought support for the C7 v5 contains both the right and the wrong filename to flash for the C7 v5. Apart from that, however, I've read of no other successes. That should indicate that they flashed the A7 rather than the US C7, which only has support for up to v4 on TP-Link's website.
